Give Back

Volunteer at NCVRC

Being of service to others helps build a strong, inclusive, and successful community.

North Central Vermont Recovery Center is staffed almost entirely by volunteers. Volunteering at NCVRC is a great way to meet new people and be a part of a healthy and helpful organization.

Volunteers can commit to as many or as few hours each week as their schedule permits. We prefer to have two volunteers on duty and for shifts to be three hours long. When applicable, we provide opportunities for people in longer-term recovery to give back to their community, and often, for college interns to gain experience/hours they need to complete a part of their education. We help to provide supervised opportunities for those needing community service hours. All volunteers must go through an application and orientation process. Monthly trainings are held to keep the team unified and informed.
