Health and Wellness
Recovery doesn't just mean being abstinent from substances, at NCVRC we support the holistic approach to health which views people as a whole with interconnected physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects. As a result we host a variety of offerings that are focused on promoting these interconnections and addressing all aspects of wellness. Offerings like recovery coaching can support all aspects health by helping encourage you change your behavior to support your goals. However, we also host health practitioners that more specifically help to support your emotional, spiritual, and physical wellness.

To support this mission we offer:
-
Sound Healing - Mondays at 1pm
-
Morning Meditation - Tuesdays at 11am
-
Acu-reset Accupuncture - Wednesdays at Noon
-
Reiki - Every other Thursday and Saturday at 4 - Sign-up is required
-
Vision board making - periodically with the Parents in Recovery Program
-
Arts based programming such as: Writers for Recovery, Create with Clay, Music sessions and more!
We also support health and wellness by making access to wellness supplies easy and free. We do this multiple ways, first through drop-in hours where materials like Narcan, fentanyl test strips, and wellness kits are available in the bathroom or upon request for FREE. Secondarily, we recently installed a 24/7/365 community health vending machine which contains all of these support materials which community members can access independent of drop-in hours
