A Recovery Coach will help you create your own personal plan for recovery by setting realistic goals, that have been previously interrupted by substance use. Together you and your Coach will explore what steps and services will help you succeed in your recovery. Your coach will support positive changes you are making and focus on your accomplishments.

North Central Vermont Recovery Center's Recovery Coaching Program is a peer-to-peer service, offering one-on-one, confidential guidance to help you achieve and maintain a fulfilling life in recovery.

.

 A Recovery Coach:

  • Empowers a person to overcome obstacles to recovery

  • Links the newly recovering person to the recovery community

  • Acts as a resource broker connecting recovering people to available assistance & programs in the community

  • Supports the recovering person in their chosen pathway to recovery

 A Recovery Coach works with:

  • People who have active addictions

  • People who are already in recovery

  • People who are concerned about someone else's substance abuse

People who participate in the recovery coaching process must have a commitment to recovery. All conversations are confidential. All recovery coaches are trained members of the North Central Vermont Recovery Center team and are committed to the Center's Mission of providing a safe and welcoming environment that is substance-free.
