We strive to offer mothers the hope, help, and support that they need to succeed in recovery and to help their families flourish by providing ways to connect mothers with an individualized support system, creating opportunities that bridge the gaps between other organizations, fostering positive relationships, and most importantly giving mothers a safe place to come to without judgement, stigma, or shame so often linked to addictions.

The Moms in Recovery Support Program is a groundbreaking suite of services tailored to the specific needs of pregnant and parenting mothers in need of support through their journey in recovery from Substance Use Disorders (SUDs) as well as their families. This includes offering weekly peer-support meetings, one-on-one recovery coaching, workshops,

help with navigation of community resources,

childcare, transportation assistance and more.

The program will be located primarily at Jenna’s House in Johnson, which is under construction as the home of a new community center and recovery center satellite facility in partnership with Jenna’s Promise. With custom space in the recovery center designed and built to support women, children, and families and the broad range of services the recovery center offers, the recovery center at Jenna’s House will offer program participants many additional benefits including access to NCVRC’s health & wellness programs with classes and workshops such as yoga, reiki, and self-defense as well as a brand new fitness center.

A playground will also be built outside on the 2.9 acres where

Jenna’s House is situated.
